GEE-tar Sadness

As much as Serif loves his little guitar, he loves the big one even more.

  1. he he he he. i had to cover my mouth while i giggled for the shame of doing it under the pitiful circumstance of poor poor serifs grief! you are horrible parents for taking the 'big' geee tar from that precious child. ;) he he he. when evan has acted like that about something (and it's also usually near bedtime), he can occationally be consoled by asking him if he'll 'help' me put the object away and then we say 'all done' (since learning it in sign language he knows 'all done' means we're done with something) to say goodbye/goodnight to it. :) other times, no, he just gets more sad and unconsolable. Yesterday i was changing his diaper before a nap and it was poopy. he had his special blanket with him and decided to throw it down by his open dirty diaper. of course the blanket grazed the poop and there was NO WAY he was taking it to nap with, in fact it was going directly in the washing machine. Well, he cried for 'blanket' (never knew just how attached he was to it! lol) for... 2 HOURS in his bed then fell asleep finally :(. I'd like not to repeat that again, for sure.
