He got mail!

Serif got a letter in the mail today from his Aunt Gerrie! It had these socks in the envelope along with a sweet letter and coloring page. So sweet! Thank you Aunt Gerrie!!!

Flowers

Serif picked me flowers yesterday while we were walking back from dinner: Two pretty daisy-like ones.



Today:

Serif: Mommy, look what happened to your flowers.

Me: Ah, I guess they dried up.

Serif: No, I think a bee did it. They took their nectar.

(He said it very sadly)

Car ride to Florida

It's 5Am, we're just on the other side of Franklin, headed to Florida. Serif's in the backseat watching The Iron Giant.
"Are we much closer to Florida? I can already smell the water of our pool. "
