We woke up this morning to snow falling outside. It was beautiful! We immediately got up and put on the snow gear and went out to play. We've learned go take advantage of every opportunity since we don't seem to get much snow down here.

I couldn't resist at least trying to make a snowman. We could barly scrape any snow from the ground since it was so thin, but we did it!

It may be small but it's still a real snowman!

Serif loves sticks. He's always loved them! After several selections that weren't good enough, he finally found the perfect one to plant.

Once he got it in the ground he said, "We're going to leave it there for 60 years and then it will grow peaches!"
Then he wanted to draw on the chalkboard. So he would draw one thing after another and wanted me to tell him what it was after every mark. talk about being put on the spot and challenging your creativity . . .

It's a man. Running. With a stick . . and a jump rope.

Then there was a cross . . .

There was more that developed in to the iron giant with sunglasses but our toes were starting to freeze so we decided to go in and warm up with a movie and breakfast. So glad the snow came on a Saturday!
