May 2 - Today's Quote

I was reading a couple of books to Serif tonight. The first book was his potty book, in which he will ask, "What's him?" and he'll point to each kid (or stuffed animal) on the potty. I always say the same thing for each one and tonight, I switched a couple of them and he corrected me. "Actually, him pees and him poops." Haha! He really said, "actually" to correct me? So funny! Then as I was putting him to bed, we were reading a book about adult and baby animals. He was going through it pointing to each one and naming them out when he suddenly stopped and corrected himself, "No, actually, that one's kitten and that one's cat." He is seriously growing up way too fast!

Haircuts!

We had the privilege of going to Murfreesboro to see Ms. Lila last night for Serif's haircut. He always looks forward to seeing her and talks about it a lot. Unfortunately, it didn't work out to see her kiddos this time but maybe next time. Serif looks that much bigger now . . . so cute! Thank you Lila for fixing both of us!!!!

We got home a little late last night and Serif was having a hard time settling down. We were all playing in his room when he decided to get up in his bed and lay down. He pulled the covers over himself and asked for his night light, then told us that he was going sleep and we needed turn the light out and go away. Haha! So, we did. We almost made it to the other end of the kitchen when we heard the pitter patter of little footsteps and "Don't go away guys! Don't go away guys! Come on!" He had gotten a little panicked and realized that maybe that's not what he really wanted to do after all.

April 29 - Today's Quote

I got a tissue for Serifs nose and when I put it to his face, he started to rub his eyes with it, then he said, "I got a little goo in my eye." I said, "Oh, okay." Then he said, "Squirrels eat my goo."

April 27 - Today's Quote

I was giving Serif a bath tonight and asked him if he cleaned his toe jam. He said, "Yeah! I don't eat my toe jam." I said, "That's right, we don't eat toe jam." Then he said, "Squirrels eat my toe jam."

Haha!! Poor squirrels!
