Serif has been doing this for a while, but he is now making the connection to do this when Jeff points his "hand" gun at him and says "Stick 'em up!". Too cute. (and yes it's literally Jeff's hand and no, we do not own any guns.)
Serif has never paid much attention to stuffed animals until the other night. This Cat in the Hat has sat on the little chair next to his bed since he was 5 months old. His Granddaddy got it for him for Easter back in April. The other night he came walking out of his room with it, holding it up next to his head with his head tilted and snuggling as he would walk around the house. It was so sweet.
Serif is also enjoying his new found freedom of walking. We went to the Greenhills mall the other night and he refused to be held for any length of time. So, while I shopped, Jeff walked with the boy all around the mall corridors. Serif did seem to enjoy the window shopping however. Such a boy.
This Saturday, Santa came back to Arthouse Gardens in East Nashville. This is the same place we took Serif last year for his first photo with Santa. You'll have to glance back to December's post on our other blog to see that one. Anyways, it's amazing how much Serif has grown in a years time. It's been an amazing year! 
Oh, and Santa? In case you couldn't quite understand him, Serif's been a very good little boy.
